The Lakefront DSA is a group of people working toward a fairer society—one where everyday folks, not just the wealthy, have a real say in how resources and opportunities are shared. We believe that the current system, which often puts profit over people, creates deep unfairness and keeps too many of us struggling. We stand against discrimination, whether it’s based on race, gender, or who you love, and we want a future where no one is held back by inequality or treated unfairly for simply being who they are.
Our vision is for a truly democratic community where resources and decisions are shared fairly, and where everyone has the freedom to reach their full potential. That means policies should be shaped by the voices of the people—not just by those with money or power. We believe in protecting freedoms, like the right to speak up, to organize, and to practice your faith if you choose. Today, we’re focused on building a stronger, visible movement for justice. In the long run, our goal is to grow into a majority force that can make this vision of democracy and fairness real for all.
